Wheels on the Runway Presented by Hartington Equipment
Family fun takes flight: ready, set roll! at the 5th annual Wheels on the Runway event in support of United Way KFL&A. In partnership with United Way KFL&A, CFB Kingston, and sponsored by Hartington Equipment with Throttle & Takeoff Sponsor: Kingston Harley Davidson and AeroAdventure Partner NAV CANADA.
When and where?
On Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at YGK Airport, 1114 Len Birchall Way.
Admission is by donation by cash or card, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to United Way KFL&A.
Two complimentary Kingston Transit shuttles will run continuously between the Cataraqui Centre transit hub and Kingston Airport (YGK) from 9:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Guests will be able to:
- Presenting sponsor Hartington Equipment will be on site with a selection of Kubota tractors.
- Enjoy a special airborne appearance by the Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks (safe weather conditions permitting).
- Interact with vehicles from the City of Kingston, Hartington Equipment, and CFB Kingston, including aircraft, large farming equipment, snow plowing machines, fire trucks, and more.
- Take a ride on the CN Little Obie train.
- Visit various stations at the airport and get your “Wheels On The Runway” passport stamped for a free admission coupon to PumpHouse Museum
