If you are interested in fitness and sports, we have different membership options for you. Learn more about our facilities.

When you purchase a membership you have a free 30-minute facility fitness equipment orientation included. Or you can purchase a facility fitness equipment orientation plus 3-visits pass for $20.00.

The YMCA Fit Pass is a comprehensive pass for current YMCA members. It allows them to use all City of Kingston facilities, including INVISTA, APAC, KECC, municipal arena public skates, and the Culligan Water Park.

This pass includes access to the cardio/weight room, gym, member fitness, aqua fit classes, recreation drop-ins, recreational swims, and public skating at municipal arenas.

The Fit Pass is free for those with an active YMCA membership. To get it, YMCA members can visit INVISTA, APAC, or KECC in person. They will be added to the City of Kingston system, receive an access card, and get online access for pre-registered City of Kingston drop-in programs.

Fitness OR Pool Membership (Single Facility)

The facilities include the Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, the INVISTA Centre and the Kingston East Community Centre (for single facility membership).  

These facilities provide access to a gym, cardio and weight room OR Pool access. The family rate covers the gymnasium only and does not grant access to the cardio and weight room.

Grade 5 and 9 Activpass 

Grade 5 and Grade 9 students can access local recreation facilities for free during specific times. Grade 5 students use a pass from school, while Grade 9 students show their school ID or get an ActivPass from the school office. They can swim, skate, play sports and use fitness centres. 

Please remember that students must show their Activpass to our staff for access to public skating. 

Grade 9 students fitness centre access: 

  • Fitness & Wellness Centre at the INVISTA Centre seven days a week.
  • KECC-YMCA Fitness Centre located at 779 Hwy 15 seven days a week. 
  • All Grade 9 students need to create an Activpass membership account and get a permission form from the INVISTA Centre. Parents/guardians should fill it out and sign it. This form must be shown to the fitness staff in the Wellness Centre before using the gym. 
  • Students should book a short gym orientation session with our facility staff before using their Activpass. You can call 613-546-4291 ext. 1891 for more information. 

Grade 5 and 9 students can access the KECC gymnasium during scheduled open gym times. Please call 613-546-4291 ext. 2000 to find out when open gym drop-in times are available.

Racquet Sport Pass 

These facilities include racquet sports programming (badminton, pickleball and tennis) at Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, Kingston East Community Centre, Rideau Heights Community Centre and the Kingston Racquet Centre.

Personal training services

The Artillery Park Fitness Centre and the INVISTA Centre offer personal training services.

Fees listed in the table below do not include applicable taxes and are subject to HST (Harmonized Sales Tax). Applicable taxes will be added at time of purchase. Fees for a child 14 years and under are HST exempt.

Note: No fee for Fitness Orientation for Municipal Fee Assistance Program (MFAP) users.
