Drop-In Recreational Programs

Got an hour to burn? We have a number of programs that allow you to drop in for an activity.  Visit our recreation portal to register for programs and activities.

If a program has a capacity limit, we recommend registering in advance to secure your spot.

Non-members will be required to pay for the class upon arrival. Learn more by visiting our memberships and fees page.

Additional support

We welcome and encourage all residents to participate in its recreation programs. Every effort will be made for the child or adult to participate in an integrated program or targeted service.

Support persons accompanying participants are admitted to a program or facility at no cost.

Support persons include:

  • A support worker that is provided by a social service agency or the family
  • A family member or friend that is familiar with the participants needs and abilities
  • A caregiver that is familiar with the participants needs and abilities, i.e. nanny/babysitter

If you would like your child to benefit from additional support visit our Adapted Programs page to learn more.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.

Today, the City is committed to working with Indigenous peoples and all residents to pursue a united path of reconciliation.
